Age is funny. I remember as a freshman in college I went on a blind date with a … girl … who was a sophmore. During our date, which lasted about 90 minutes I think, she told me that she normally doesn’t date freshmen. She was a whole year older than me. I wonder if she met me today if she’d think she was too old for me. :)

So if 26 is too old to start writing, then that person must have been …hmm … it just doesn’t make sense.

I did hear Michael Crichton, I believe it was him, say he wouldn’t want to start his first novel after the age of 40. He should out the work of Desiree Holt … a romance/erotic romance writer who’s not too far away from being a centenarian.
