Congrats on writing an article that must be earning quite well for you ... and why is it earning well, if it is ... because it has value. That really is the bottom line--are you/we providing value for the reader. That doesn't mean to throw grammar and formatting out the window, but it does mean you have to write enough to find out what clicks with certain readers. I've stopped submitting to large pubs here and on my own little pub I've had good curation/distribution rate. I like your pinned article page as well and I need to do one.
