I just started writing seriously on Medium about 3 weeks ago and I was disappointed — though not too surprised. But at the same time, I’ve had 2 stories do really well the last two days so I’m holding out hope for a good report next week.

Do you feel that writing online is itself a stress and almost addictive? I’ve really appreciated your story because, although my family circumstances are different, they’re quite similar to yours in my need to boost my earnings, business and book sales.

I began writing online in 2008 and enjoyed seeing stats on my blogs and a few of the sites that I wrote to. But the adrenaline or the puzzlement can indeed cause a roller coast of emotions.
