I’m pretty safe these days. My wife can’t stay awake past 9 p.m. I thought it was cute before I married her. But after, I’m like, “Let’s go clubbing.” She’d rather watch the Andy Griffith Show each night on Netflix.

Living on the edge doesn’t mean that we ourselves are going to do anything stupid or awful but simply being around someone who does can mean that we get sucked into their drama. And we pay for it.
