Quality writing and articles draw people in to a platform. That may be non-fiction, fiction or both. I read sooooooo many stories about writers writing about how much money they make on Medium and that's got to be a turn-off. The other turn-off are political and social rants that have little evidence to back up their points. Those are prevalent.
