The headline made me click on your article. So, a reason I read this is because it met a need of mine. That shows that not all my articles do well. Also, on Medium, a piece may not have picked up readers because the title is off slightly and it's not positioned in the best publication. So, yes, there are reasons. I always go back to a novel I read by John Grisham in 2008. I loved The Firm, but didn't like this particular novel of his. So, he got discouraged and quit writing. Oh, wait. No, he didn't. :) In fact, he probably didn't care what others thought. The other alternative for articles is publishing in like ebooks and maybe those will do better. Oops. I should write an article from this.
